Slide Switch An electronic switch is an electronic component or device that can switch an electrical circuit, interrupting the current or diverting it from one conductor to another. Adding another pole to the SPDT creates a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch. Two SPDT switches can control two separate circuits but are always switched together by a single actuator. SPDT Switch routes two separate circuits, connecting each of the two inputs to one of two outputs.The position of the SPDT Slide Switch determines the number of ways in which each of the two contacts can be routed.
