4 IR Sensor Array Module – High-Precision Infrared Detection

The 4 IR Sensor Array Module is a compact and efficient solution for proximity sensing and object detection across a range of applications, including robotics and automation systems. It features four independent IR sensor units, each equipped with an infrared transmitter and receiver for accurate surface and obstacle detection.

With an adjustable detection range from 1mm to 20cm (extendable up to 60cm under ideal conditions), this module performs best at close range. It excels in detecting reflective surfaces, particularly white objects that offer the highest IR reflection.

Its modular design includes a 42 x 38 x 12mm control panel and four detachable sensors measuring 25 x 12 x 12mm each. The compact size ensures easy integration into small or mobile platforms.

The module uses a 6-wire interface: four signal output pins (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4), one positive power pin (+), and one ground pin (–). The output is TTL level, making it directly compatible with most microcontroller I/O pins.

When a sensor detects reflected infrared light, its red LED indicator lights up and the output signal goes LOW. When no reflection is detected, the LED turns off and the signal goes HIGH.
